From dental hygiene to regenerative skin care

Stephanie earned an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Pima Community College in 2009 and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Northern Arizona University in 2011. Hygienists work in and around the face all day: injections, delicate tissue, patients who are nervous about needles. That background is why PRF suits her.

Platelet-Rich Fibrin came out of dentistry. Oral surgeons use it to speed healing after extractions and implants because it concentrates a patient's own platelets and growth factors with no additives. In 2024 Stephanie began training with the CARE program (the Center for Advanced Rejuvenation and Esthetics) to apply that same biology to facial skin, with one goal: a natural, chemical-free option for people who want regenerative skin care rather than synthetic fillers.

How a visit with Stephanie works

Every treatment starts with a consultation. She looks at your skin, asks what you want to change, and explains which PRF option fits and how many sessions to expect. If you are a good candidate and the schedule allows, treatment can follow at the same visit: a small blood draw, a spin in the centrifuge to separate the PRF, topical numbing, and then the microneedling or injections. Most people are back to their day within 24 to 48 hours.
